Real Estate – MLS Data for Highlands – Cashiers NC Year to Date 2015 v 2016

These figures show we are going in the right direction as far as sales in Cashiers, Highlands and Sapphire Valley.

For the past 4 years we have been  gaining ground on increases in sales of our Real Estate but we still have a lot of inventory and we are seeing prices start to climb because our sellers are feeling more confident. It is still a Buyers Market because of the amount of inventory we do have.

Being a second home market I don’t think we will ever get close to the amount of sales and prices we saw before the recession starting in 2007. The good news is Sales ARE IMPROVING!
