Cashiers, North Carolina – 2020

It seems our little town of Cashiers, NC has become more inundated with people wanting to get out of Florida and big cities such as Atlanta, Birmingham, New Orleans and others because of how the world has changed in the last 5-6 months.

Our Real Estate market is as hot as I have seen it in the last 23 years. Homes that come on the market can go under contract in less than 24 hours, it’s that hot of a housing market here.
Our restaurants and clubs are open to 50% and there are a lot of people here hoping to escape their homes where the pandemic is higher along with crime.

So far we are a safe place to live and we will do everything we can to keep it that way.
It’s summertime and the weather is beautiful with daytime highs in the 70’s to low 80’s and nights are in the low 60’s.
